Harvest Life’s Community Partnerships program is pivotal in achieving the HLF mission to reduce recidivism by reviving and restructuring communities and removing barriers to employment and family reintegration.  HLF’’s programs for workforce development, mentoring, and community services work in close collaboration with the community to create partnerships that will have a snowball effect eventually fostering a spirit of cooperation and collaboration among local civic organizations, churches and businesses with a goal to change public perceptions of persons with barriers and increase public safety through rehabilitation of the ex-offender as opposed to the expenditure of millions of tax payers dollars within the criminal justice system. 

Specific activities undertaken by this agency function include:

  • Building Partnerships with Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement 
  • Partnering with City and County Agencies, Social Services Providers, and Key Stakeholders
  • Establishing and Maintaining Quality Assurance Mechanisms for Programs
  • Empowering Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations for capacity expansion
  • Creating Partnerships for Mentoring Programs
  • Developing Innovative Offender Reintegration Programs
  • Collaborating with Education and Training Providers and Workforce Systems
  • Partnering with Industry and Businesses in High-Demand Areas
